GREEN BAY EVENING OF RECOLLECTION SCHEDULE - 2010

An Evening of Recollection is similar to a two hour silent retreat. Its purpose is to help men sanctify their ordinary life in and through their work, family, and recreational activities. Two meditations by a priest and a talk by a layman are combined with time for silent conversation with our Lord about the inspirations received of the Holy Spirit. There is also the opportunity for the Sacrament of Confession. The evening closes with Benediction followed by optional time for fellowship and coffee, soda and treats. The Evenings (Mornings) of Recollection are under the spiritual guidance of the Prelature of Opus Dei.

Each Evening of Recollection for Men is followed the next day by a Morning of Recollection for Women. This is held at the same location and begins at 8:00 AM.

Evenings of Recollection for Men are also available in the Milwaukee area at 7:30 PM on the third Monday of the month and the Wednesday immediately following (also on that Wednesday at 11:30 AM) at Layton Study Center, 12900 W. North Avenue, Brookfield, WI.
